Description

Shock Absorber End-Cap Tightening Machine

This tightening machine is designed for the tightening operation of shock absorber end caps on rail vehicle car bodies. It is mainly composed of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic subsystems.

Electrical System
Mainly consists of breakers, power supply units, intermediate relays, and solenoid valves.

Pneumatic System
Composed of air filters, solenoid valves, cylinders, and related pneumatic components.

Mechanical System
Includes the tightening spindle assembly, tightening head, shock absorber clamping unit, material rack, and machine frame assembly.

Operation Process:

1.The shock absorber is lifted and transferred manually with a crane to the clamping unit.

2.The operator opens the clamp and places the shock absorber onto the fixture; the clamp locks to secure positioning.

3.The shock absorber is moved into the tightening workstation and locked in place.

4.The operator pulls down the tightening head to align with the end-cap tightening hole.

5.The positioning cylinder is activated to precisely locate the tightening head.

6.The tightening-spindle cylinder drives the spindle to the tightening position.

7.The operator presses the tightening button, and the spindle begins the tightening operation automatically.

8.Upon completion, the spindle cylinder retracts the tightening spindle, and the positioning cylinder returns the tightening head to its home position.

9.The operator releases the clamp, and the crane lifts the tightened shock absorber out of the workstation.
